We\u2019ve all come across people who have what is often referred to as \u201ca powerful presence\u201d. This expression is used to describe individuals from many walks of life, bearing certain common traits, yet showing up uniquely within each person.\n Whether we\u2019re talking about the quality of presence of a motivational speaker, a strong leader, or even the Dalai Lama – there is a distinct tendency to experience such people as having a memorable effect on us. More often than not,\n we explain these experiences away, arguing that they must have been born with certain personality traits – such as confidence, eloquence, charm, assertiveness, kindness, compassion, or (to use a more all-encompassing term) charisma.<\/p>\n

One fundamental aspect of having \u201ca powerful presence\u201d that is indeed rarely addressed is the body. Anything we are, do, or become is expressed in, with, and through our bodies. Also, our bodies are not isolated systems, they are constantly\n communicating and signaling our state of being to the surrounding environment. Most of us have been taught that this is a process that we cannot control with our conscious mind. However, what we haven\u2019t heard as often is that we\n have access to a body intelligence that is constantly learning from the experiences we are being exposed to.<\/p>\n

What if it was possible to cultivate our quality of presence through body exercises that activate our body intelligence? What if we could cultivate a more authentically impactful version of ourselves by curating the experiences for\n our body to learn from?<\/p>\n

In my work as a somatic facilitator and leadership coach, I help you understand the causes and effects of your current somatic shape in all of its history. Then, by means of somatic practices, I show you a way to traverse the territory\n of who you have been towards becoming a more authentically impactful human being, no matter the situation you find yourself in.<\/p>\n

As a somatic coach, I work with you to access the wisdom of your body, to deepen your self-awareness, and to develop your capacity for taking new skillful action that is in alignment with your values and goals. Together, we will explore\n how your posture and movements become the building blocks of how you express yourself. Through movement, breath, and inquiry, we will explore your physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and discover how they relate\n to the ways in which you show up in your life and in your leadership.<\/p>\n
